Individual Therapy

Emotional therapy offers a safe, supportive space to explore the inner experiences that cause distress—with room for reflection, compassion, and meaningful processing.

In therapy, we come to understand the perceptions, beliefs, and internal narratives we hold about ourselves and about others. Many of these were shaped in our earliest relationships, especially with our parents, and influenced by our personal history and life circumstances. Some of these patterns are conscious, while others operate beneath the surface. Some help us move forward; others may keep us stuck.

By gently examining these beliefs, inner positions, and recurring patterns within the therapeutic relationship, therapy can strengthen emotional well-being and open the door to lasting change.

Couples therapy

A couple relationship often touches the most tender and complex parts of our inner world. It is a unique bond that invites closeness, intimacy, and genuine sharing—while also bringing vulnerability, disappointment, and conflict.

When we can hold the relationship as a space for development rather than perfection, it becomes easier to stay present with the difficulties and to see them as opportunities for growth—both individually and together. Our similarities bring us closer; our differences help us grow.

For children from early childhood through age 12, I work with parents only. In my experience, parent-focused sessions often lead to meaningful change more quickly.

Parents are the child’s main source of stability and change in everyday life. Together, we make sense of what the difficulty is rooted in, how current patterns may be maintaining it, and what can help. As parents adjust their responses and strengthen the relational foundation, many children show improvement in regulation, communication, and the overall quality of the parent–child relationship.

Parent Guidance

EMDR

EMDR is an integrative therapy approach designed to help process traumatic memories and reduce the distress they evoke. The work combines bilateral stimulation of the brain—such as guided eye movements or alternating hand tapping—with emotional and cognitive processing.

This method can lessen the negative impact of painful memories by reducing emotional distress, easing physical and/or behavioral symptoms, decreasing intrusive thoughts, and replacing negative core beliefs with more supportive, positive ones.

EMDR has been extensively researched and is widely used in the treatment of trauma, PTSD, and anxiety.
